EIR Scoping Meeting
The comment period for the scope and content of the environmental impact assessment closed on February 13, 2025.
As a related action accompanying the release of the Notice of Preparation, scoping provides an opportunity to further define environmental issues, feasible alternatives and potential mitigation measures that may warrant in-depth analysis in the environmental review process. Comments received during public scoping are considered in preparing the Draft EIR analyses.
Public Feedback
All interested agencies, organizations and individuals were invited to submit comments to inform the scope of the Draft EIR. The call for public comment expressed particular interested in hearing views on the following questions:
- Are there any alternatives you believe MTC-ABAG should evaluate?
- What types of mitigation measures do you think would help avoid or minimize potential environmental effects?

The scoping meeting for Plan Bay Area 2050+ was held on January 29, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. The meeting was held virtually on Zoom.
